Energy Musings. Here. Now.

Today!

“Let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterness and hatred”.  Dr Marin Luther King Jr.

I have a Dream too.

Of women in solidarity and strength, demonstrating for freedom, for all our sisters everywhere, here, now.  This amassing of feminine strength and endurance in our Nation’s capitol, and also in cities around the globe, with its sheer presence… shifting the backlash against our progress and halting it in its tracks.  Our own diversity of strengths respected, recognized and supported.  That those in the center of the march, are respected and supported as much as those on the outer rings. Our true understanding of this big picture coming into focus: equally valued.  My dream is that all of us women, and supporters of women, can clear away any negativity directed toward our sisters born of hidden bitterness or hatred. To hold the truth of all women being created equal.  To judge each other not by our choice of hats but by the content of our character.

On this day, Can we love our sisters whether they choose to wear pink pussyhats or not, who choose to be at the march or stay at home, who advocate for all women’s rights in their own way… without judgement, pointing fingers, guilt, blame, shame, or “should-ing” on them? without even needing to understand them?

Can we come to appreciate, value and accept our differences, hand in hand, walking forward, from this day on?

Dr King is my Angel, my guide, and I pray to him for this today.

What is your Dream today?
